+What am I purchasing?
A usage license to a specific video, for the rights you select — not exclusive ownership of the footage itself. You get a clean, downloadable copy of the video and the right to use it the way your license describes.
+Is the footage exclusive?
No — standard licenses are non-exclusive, meaning the same clip can be licensed to other customers too. If you need exclusivity, request a custom quote.
+Can I edit, crop, caption, or add my logo to the video?
Yes. Normal edits like cropping, trimming, color adjustments, captions, and adding your own logo are permitted under your license.
+What's the difference between making edits myself and purchasing a done-for-you editing service?
You're always free to make any edit your license permits yourself, using your own tools. The optional add-on services (logo, captions, audio swap, trimming) exist for when you'd rather have Chris deliver a finished version instead — they don't expand what your license allows, they just save you the editing work.
+Can I use one purchase for more than one business or client?
No — each purchase covers one named company or end client, as recorded at checkout. If you need to cover more than one client, request a custom quote.
+Can an agency purchase for an end client?
Yes. Enter the end client's name at checkout alongside your agency details, and that will be part of your license record.
+Can I use the video in paid or boosted advertising?
Only with the Paid Social Advertising license. Organic-only licenses (like One-Time or Ongoing Organic Social Media) don't cover paid or boosted placement.
+How does the monthly paid-advertising license work?
It's billed monthly while active. If you cancel, your rights stay active through the date you already paid for, then end — you're never charged for a period you can't use.
+Can I use the footage on a website or in email marketing?
Yes, with the Website and Email Marketing license.
+Can I reuse a one-time social license in another post?
No — One-Time Organic Social Media covers a single post, Reel, Short, or Story. For ongoing use across multiple posts, choose Ongoing Organic Social Media instead.
+How do downloads work?
Once your payment is confirmed, a secure download link becomes available in My Purchases.
+How long is the download link active, and can I retrieve the purchase later?
Each generated link is short-lived for security, but your purchase itself doesn't expire — return to My Purchases anytime to generate a fresh download link.
+What happens if I need exclusivity, broadcast, film, merchandise, or rights not listed?
Request a custom quote — these uses are reviewed individually rather than sold as a standard license card.
+Are refunds available for digital downloads?
Our digital-download refund policy is still being finalized. If you have a question about a specific order, contact support and we'll take care of you.
+How can I contact Chris?
Reach out through the Support page — include your order number if it's about a purchase, and it'll be included automatically if you get there from My Purchases.
